Business events take centre stage at the Catrin Finch Centre
The first week in October sees business events taking centre stage at Glyndŵr University’s Catrin Finch Centre.
On Tuesday 6th October the popular Glyndŵr Enterprise Network returns to the University after a brief hiatus, with an interactive marketing planning masterclass from marketing strategist and planner Cynara Livera. A postgraduate chemist, Cynara has spent the past 12 years working in small business, and has a wealth of experience within many areas, particularly market-driven product and service development.
This free breakfast networking event will also feature Dr Andrew Campen, Technical Manager at waste water specialists Arvia Technology, discussing the challenges of being a technology start-up and growing to be a successful, global commercialised business.
Following on from its successful launch in September, the Glyndŵr Club is back on Friday 9th October with an evening Q&A event and drinks reception with former The Apprentice contestant Felipe Alviar-Baquero.
Born and raised in Colombia, and with a first class degree in Law from the University of Kent, Felipe became a household name in 2014 with his appearance on the BBC TV show. He has since made a name for himself as a leading light in social entrepreneurship, with a sole mission to support community projects like Children of the Andes and The Demelza House Enterprise Scheme.
Glyndŵr Enterprise Network Events provide a forum for creative, innovative businesses to network and share best practice.
Organised by Glyndŵr University’s Business School, The Glyndŵr Club is a new business initiative designed to encourage and increase collaboration, partnerships and knowledge sharing between North Wales businesses.
