Catrin Finch Centre to host launch of new business networking club

The Catrin Finch Centre is to host the launch of a new business networking club for North Wales on Thursday 3 September.

Organised by Glyndŵr University’s Business School, The Glyndŵr Club is a new business initiative designed to encourage and increase collaboration, partnerships and knowledge sharing between North Wales businesses.

The launch event will run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, and will feature a talk by Ann Francke, CEO of the Chartered Management Institute. Ann will disucss her extensive global management experience and proven track record of developing people and delivering innovative strategies that result in sustainable growth.

Following the launch, the university will host regular Glyndŵr Club networking and learning events at the throughout the year as part of its commitment to supporting the business community in the region. Meetings will feature different guest speakers and focus on topics most relevant and useful to today’s business leaders.

Laura Gough, business development executive at Glyndŵr University, said: "The Glyndŵr Club has been established following feedback from local businesses on how the university can help them.

"We have a vital role to play in creating opportunities for all of them to grow, providing access to the types of services and support which would otherwise be beyond their reach."
