Modern facilities in a rural setting
Located in the heart of the beautiful North Wales countryside, and with fantastic views across the Dee Estuary to Liverpool, our Northop site is perfect for those looking to offer delegates a modern, well-equipped venue in an attractive rural setting.
The Northop campus is conveniently located just off the A55, and is less than 15 miles from both Wrexham and Chester. Following significant recent investment the site boasts state-of-the-art conference facilities, including meeting and seminar rooms, refurbished lecture rooms, a boardroom and a sports hall. There are also IT and business suites incorporating video conferencing and lecture facilities.
The venue's size makes it ideal for smaller conferences, as well as meetings and training sessions. The sports hall is an excellent location for holding exhibitions or receptions, and University accommodation is available for residential conferences, or for day-delegates looking for somewhere to stay. As well as business use, the site also regularly plays host to a wide range of events from outdoor festivals and well-being retreats to horse and dog shows.
Our meeting and lecture rooms can accommodate up to 35 people, and are great for individual meetings, or for break-out sessions for larger events. The sports hall can hold up to 100 in theatre style – ideal for larger plenary sessions. The hall can also accommodate up to 160 for a standing reception, and has capacity for up to 20 exhibition stands.
Our rooms are equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment, and our on-site AVL technicians can be on hand throughout your event to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Full business centre facilities and complimentary wifi are also available, and there is free parking across the site.
If you require catering for your event we offer a range of range of refreshment and buffet lunch options – everything you need for the perfect working lunch.
