Catrin Finch Centre to host Special National Hustings Event
The Catrin Finch Centre is to host a special national hustings event later this week (14 April). Organised by Hope Not Hate, Together Creating Communities, Oxfam Cymru and the Welsh Refugee Council, the event is a chance for communities from across Wales to hear how the main political parties are planning to make Wales a welcoming and prosperous nation.
The event is one of several hustings that Wrexham Glyndŵr University has hosted over the past few weeks in the run up to May's elections for the National Assembly for Wales.
Conference and Events Manager Haydn Hughes said: "We're delighted that the Catrin Finch Centre has been chosen to host so many key events in the run up to the National elections. It's great that an increasing number of these events are taking place away from Cardiff, and the fact that we are being asked to hold them is testment to the wealth of facilities we have here at Wrexham Glyndŵr University."
The meeting will be tightly and fairly chaired, with questions being passed to the panel on issues such as migration, economic growth, health, education and equality.
The event takes place on Thursday 14 April at 7.30pm, and is free to attend. For more information or to reserve your place please visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/making-wales-a-welcoming-and-prosperous-nation-tickets-22782430864?aff=ehomecard or call 01978 262588.
