Cream of childcare in Wrexham comes together at University for annual awards ceremony

Wrexham Childcare Awards brought together the cream of the sector for a glittering ceremony at Wrexham Glyndwr University. Industry representatives were out in force at the Catrin Finch Centre to support those receiving awards against the 11 categories, with over 100 people in attendance.

Wales Export Forum & Innovate UK Briefing

As Wales prepares for transition from the EU, the Welsh Government hosted an Export Forum in the Catrin Finch Centre recently. The Forum brought together companies of all sizes from across Wales to discuss the impact that leaving the EU will have on their business and to find out how the Welsh Government can help with export issues. There were experts on hand to give talks and advice on the day.

Assembly Candidates participate in ‘Question Time’ event

Welsh Assembly election candidates declared their stance on the upcoming EU Referendum, NHS privatisation and north Wales at a hustings event held in the Catrin Finch Centre last Friday. With the election less than two months away some of the region’s political party candidates were quizzed by an audience, made up of the region’s business leaders, in a Question Time style event.
