New coffee shops and food outlets are among £200,000 of improvements to catering facilities at Wrexham Glyndwr University. Global brands Costa Coffee and Grumpy Mule – a Fairtrade organisation – are to open at the University in the coming months.

Level Up: Games, Media and Technology Expo returns to Wrexham Glyndwr University on Wednesday May 17. The Catrin Finch Centre will again play host to the free conference, which welcomed more than 500 gamers, entertainment organisations and businesses last Spring.

Cream of childcare in Wrexham comes together at University for annual awards ceremony

Wrexham Childcare Awards brought together the cream of the sector for a glittering ceremony at Wrexham Glyndwr University. Industry representatives were out in force at the Catrin Finch Centre to support those receiving awards against the 11 categories, with over 100 people in attendance.

Wales Export Forum & Innovate UK Briefing

As Wales prepares for transition from the EU, the Welsh Government hosted an Export Forum in the Catrin Finch Centre recently. The Forum brought together companies of all sizes from across Wales to discuss the impact that leaving the EU will have on their business and to find out how the Welsh Government can help with export issues. There were experts on hand to give talks and advice on the day.
